Educational and fun with these living, walking sticks.
With this pack you can raise 8-10 Indian Stick Insects (Carausius morosus). Hatching can occur at any time from arrival up to 2 months.
When they hatch feed the insects fresh bramble, privet or ivy.
You will need to provide a container that will allow enough space for the adult insects to hang down from a twig or leaves so they can shed their skins as they grow.
Your little pets will live for around 12 months and will start laying eggs once they reach maturity at around 5-6 months old, so you can raise a new generation if you wish!
An aquarium or similar container with a cloth cover held on by elastic makes a good home. Mesh net Habitats sold separately, or purchase a full Living Twig kit here.
Eggs sent all year round (weather permitting).
